Q: Your play Doctors Jane & Alexander is about your family — your grandfather. Are you concerned skeletons in your closet will come back to haunt you?

“My concern is not that anything in the play will come back to haunt me, it’s that the play may make some of my relatives uncomfortable. Would my grandfather be happy if he were alive? I don’t know. I hope so. It definitely talks about some family secrets. I don’t think keeping family secrets is healthy.”
